about the children's home

Niños de la Luz, or Children of the Light, is a children’s home in La Ceiba, Honduras. It was founded by missionary Bill Kwiatkowski in 1994 and is currently home to 19 orphans. Niños de la Luz provides shelter and spiritual guidance, as well as a comforting atmosphere and an education.

356 young men

Niños de la Luz provides love and hope to the street children of Honduras.

To help the boys learn a trade, Niños de la Luz asked Ramirez Family Foundation to invest in a 25 ft. x 25 ft. workshop. The Foundation also provided equipment for students, including saws and a welder, giving students a chance to learn the skills to work on cars for neighbors.
